Written/Email Retention Policy
Purpose: The Written/Email Retention Policy is intended to help employees determine what information
sent or received by email or in writing should be retained and for how long.
Anamosa Community Schools, through Google Apps for EDU, has a system in place for Archiving and
Discovery of any email sent by or received by staff or students of Anamosa Community Schools. They
have the right to search and place a hold on any email of staff or students. These holds may be retained in
the case of legal affairs.
