Welcome to Strawberry Hill Elementary
On behalf of the entire staff here at Strawberry Hill Elementary, I want to welcome each of you to the upcoming school year. I want you to know that I am both excited and challenged to be serving as your elementary principal during this upcoming year. First and foremost, I want to take an opportunity to personally thank our community partners, families and public health officials for their unwavering support throughout these ever-changing times in education. I look forward to working alongside our very dedicated staff and our amazing assistant principal, Mrs. Erin Jenkins, to provide a top notch educational experience for your child.
Our vision at SHE is to Inspire, Believe, Achieve. We expect all students to be Inspired, Believe in themselves and others, and Achieve to their highest levels! |
Strawberry Hill Elementary serves approximately 420 students in preschool through 4th grade. Our main goal is to prepare each student for a successful and meaningful life. We are committed to honoring each student as a whole child. We continue to do everything in our power to provide a safe, nurturing, supportive and respectful environment. While providing this environment we hope to meet and maximize each individual child’s social and emotional needs.
As parents, you play a valuable role in providing the primary educational setting for your child. We ask that you assist us by getting your child to school each and every day. We want to make a difference in their lives and cannot do that unless they are here. As a school, we understand the importance of partnering with families to help address issues and needs that arise throughout the year. We have a variety of resources and you know your child better than anyone. We are a team!
I encourage you to visit our school for lunch or breakfast, and enjoy volunteer opportunities around the school! We highly recommend you attend parent teacher conferences, PTO meetings, events your child is starring in such as: art shows, music concerts, and our spring track and field day. Our teachers do a great job of posting your child’s weekly learning on Seesaw, which is a learning media platform for education. Notes, assignments, and student work are posted and communicated with you from teachers and your child. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you are not connected to Seesaw. Building or district wide communication will most likely come out through Infinite Campus in an email to the primary address you have provided us. If you are on Facebook, we post our school success on our Strawberry Hill Facebook page, too!
Once again, thank you for your continued support through these uncertain times. I ask for your grace and patience as we move forward. With all of us working together, I am confident that the upcoming school year will be a positive learning experience for all students. ~ We are looking forward to another great school year!
