Purpose: To provide guidelines for the evaluation of the Assistant High School Principal.
Policy: The High School Principal shall conduct an on-going process of evaluating the Assistant High School Principal on his/her skills, abilities, and competence. The Assistant High School Principal shall be evaluated annually. The goals of the evaluation process are to ensure that the needs of the District are carried out, to promote growth in professional development, to clarify the role of this position to ascertain areas in need of improvement, and to clarify immediate priorities. This policy does not preclude the ongoing informal evaluation of the Assistant High School Principal’s skills, abilities, and competence.
