Anamosa Virtual Academy

Anamosa School District is excited to announce the Anamosa Virtual Academy, this is a new opportunity to benefit our students and families in our community. Students participating in this program are considered full-time students of the Anamosa School District. The following is a program overview for 7th-12th grade students. Edgenuity is the online program platform. In addition to completing the coursework, the student is responsible for attending a weekly check-in meeting with the online student group and program supervisor at a scheduled time. Due to limitations of the online platform, all courses offered onsite may not be available in the Anamosa Virtual Academy. The district is working to expand their online offerings, students enrolled in A.V.A. do have the opportunity to take courses onsite or attend Kirkwood programming. Please note, participation in onsite programming or Kirkwood requires in-person attendance at those designated locations. Also, students also enrolled through A.V.A. may participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities.
