Special Meeting

October 11, 2010

The Anamosa Board of Education met in special session on October 11, 2010, at 7:00 P.M. in

the high school library with President Tiedt presiding. Members present: McKean, Crump,

Riniker and Darrow. Director Sellnau was absent.

Motion by Riniker, seconded by Darrow to approve the agenda, as amended. The construction

management presentation was deleted. Motion carried 5-0.

Motion by Crump, seconded by McKean to approve the consent agenda(personnel appointments/

adjustments), as submitted. Motion carried 5-0.

Motion by Darrow, seconded by Crump to approve the appointment of Kris Kilburg to fill the

vacant Board position effective immediately. Motion carried 5-0.

The Board secretary administered the oath of office to Kris Kilburg at this time.

Motion by Darrow, seconded by McKean to accept the bid of $3,500, from IIW Engineers, to

perform a traffic study at the new Middle School site on Old Dubuque Road. Motion carried 6-0.

Motion by Riniker, seconded by Crump to adjourn at 7:10 P.M. Motion carried 6-0.
