Last Day of School for 2016-2017 School Year

Friday May 26th

The Anamosa School District Board of Directors has voted to make-up both snow days we had this winter.   The last day of school for students in the Anamosa Community School District will be  Friday, May 26 .  There will be a full day of school on  Thursday, May 25  and on  Friday, May 26  we will run a  three hour early dismissal .  Lunch will be served on both  Thursday . . .

AHS Students compete in WaMaC Art Show

On April 12th, Anamosa art students competed in the annual WaMaC Art Show held this year at Western Dubuque. Several students placed in this highly competitive event.    Jesina Minger was awarded 2nd place in Watercolor with her watercolor landscape. Will Marsh won 1st place with his fish sculpture in Mixed Media 3-D with  Madison Ide receiving 3rd in the same category with a paper sculpture. Jacob . . .
