Student Make-Up Day

At the March 21 school board meeting, the school board voted to have students make-up 1 day of instruction and to have staff (teachers/nurses, secretaries, para-educators, food service and bus d rivers) make up the additional 1.5 days for the total of 2.5 days that were missed. School will be in session for students on Friday, May 27th. Teachers will work on May 31st, June 1st and part of June 2nd. Other staff . . .

"Diamonds are Forever"

AHS Junior/ Senior Prom will be held Saturday, May 7th

Anamosa High School's Junior/ Senior Prom will be held  Saturday, May 7th .  The festivities begin with the Grand March, held at the Performing Arts Center at  7 PM . Piano music will be playing on stage before the event. A parent, grandparent or any family member can escort you at the Grand March.  Admission is a canned food item or $1. Prom will be held at the National Motorcycle Museum from 8-11. Ben . . .

Bus Safety

Please Read

While we rely upon our Bus Drivers to transport our children to and from school in a safe manner, it is also very important for those driving a vehicle to obey the red lights and stop signs on the school buses. It is not uncommon for our drivers to have one or more vehicles each week run through these stop signs. Not only does this endanger the lives of our students but the driver of the vehicle could  sustain a large fine. . . .
